Well here we are - 2020! Better to blog 2019’s wedding late than never right??

I started off the summer of 2019 by flying over to Minneapolis for Jess and Magnus’ wedding at beautiful Camrose Hill Flower Farm. Yes, flower farm!! It was a gorgeous setting. This was such a special wedding for me because I knew the bride and groom from our freshman year dorm building at St. Olaf! It was a little bit of a trip seeing them get married - very surreal, but so beautiful. The toasts get me at every wedding, and these ones were particularly touching.

The forecast called for rain, and I arrived in Minnesota prepared to shoot in the rain at their outdoor wedding. Miraculously, the rain not only held off ALL DAY, but the sun popped out right as were were heading out for the wedding party portraits! We couldn’t have asked for better timing. Liza, my wonderful roommate at St. Olaf came along as my second shooter, and was a massive help! It was awesome having her along and she did a great job.
